I work in a pretty low stressed job (finance/accountant), from 9 to 5 at mid level. I used to work in much more senior roles but realised it was too stresful. I walk to work five days a week as I love the exercise. It takes me an hour and a quarter each way. By the time it comes to Friday evening, I’m exhausted and usually spend Saturday completely relaxing. I don’t have children (I’m in my mid 40s) and wonder how Mothers do it all? I’m in very good health, am almost a vegetarian (just eat some fish) don’t smoke and drink just a glass every few weeks. I’m wondering why I’m so wrecked at the weekends?

Several reason … that is quite a bit of walking to do. Also I had the problem several years ago of having no energy and my doctor put it down to anemia deficiency as i didnt eat any red meat. Try a few weeks of iron tablets to see if it makes a difference!
no you are normal but this the end of the week and your body needs to relax that is all.
Aside from the B12 and iron suggestion, I’d like to add that you should really look at how much sleep you are getting.
The latest medical research says that adults need between 7 1/2 to 8 hours of sleep; kids and teens, at least 9.
Try turning the TV off earlier.
Moms do what they have to do, usually at their own expense. I’m a single parent and when my son was little, I was exhausted all the time.
