Hello,
My husband is getting ready to leave the military and move to a civilian job. All he’s been wearing for the past 9 years are the camies. What kind of suit should we buy for his upcoming job interviews? He is interviewing for mid-level management positions. Please help. Thank you….
P.S. Sorry for any mistakes, I’m not a native English speaker…

A nice dark colored suit, not a three peice suit, just nice slacks a nice dress shirt and dress jacket with tie. Make sure he has nice dress shoes as well. A good resume is very important and if he has a portfolio that always helps.
Your English is perfect.
Anyway, just nice clothing would do… Slacks (black or beige), a belt, a dress-shirt and maybe a jacket… black socks with black dress shoes. If he’s wearing a jacket, a tie would help a lot, if he’s just wearing the dress-shirt the tie might look a bit goofy.
Navy blue.
You can wear any colour (dark being a preference), but grey, brown etc are all fine. A colour that looks good on you.
The only reason I say blue is that’s it been around forever and doesn’t change with the fashions. It’s always serviceable (Weddings, Funerals, Evenings etc)
And I agree, wear a tie. Even if the workplace is casual, you are not an employee yet so you do not get to go casual.
buy a black or blue suit that says power…try and stay nuetrel so no bright colors! buy it off the internet of course and try to stay trendy just look and whats hott online and your gonna do fine!
A suit would be nice, but not necessary. The jacket and pants should be both of dark colors, white shirt with a decent “quiet” tie.
Transitioning back to civilian life is not easy but remember that he should emphasize that your husband was part of the biggest management team possible and he was expected to solve the most unexpected interpersonal problems. He understands what motivation and ultimately commitment – 9 years is two lifetimes in the business world.
