My target jobs are entry to mid level structural engineer. I had a couple of interviews that went well but the employers were concerned because I did not have knowledge of building codes used in USA. I was told the only way to learn them is either at work or go back to school. I could not write EIT because the evaluation said I dont have enough credits in social studies !!! No body teaches social studies in asia.

I already have a Masters and do not want to do a PhD or another masters. Should I keep looking? I live in Atlanta, GA and would like to know if I could take any courses that helps me in learning codes and also take EIT – TIA.
