No. Your income earned in 2007 will be reported on your 2007 tax return, which will be due on April 15, 2008.

The taxes that are due on April 17, 2007 are for any income you received during the period of January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006. Therefore, if you did not work at all during 2006 you are not required to file a tax return this year. However, you may be required to file one next year if you earn enough income from your new job or if you have taxes withheld from your check.

Yes, definately you have to pay income tax! Tax filing is for period from Jan 1 to Dec. 31 . April 15 is just a dead line for you to send in your income tax of previous year.

April 15, 2007 is deadline for you to declare income & taxes for last year. If you start the new job in March this year, you will not need to file your income tax for this job until April next year .

Good luck on your new job!

April 15, 2007 is the deadline to file taxes on earnings made in 2006. Your employer should withhold taxes each paycheck (based on a calculation from your W4 form that they will provide you with). In January of 2008, you employer will provide you a statement (form W2) which you will use by April 15, 2008 to file a form 1040 (or 1040a or 1040ez) to 'even up" what you actually owe and what was withheld during 2007.

you only have to worry about the money (if any) you may have earned in 2006. That is the deadline coming up on April 15th, 2007.

This year's earnings will go on your return that you prepare between 01/01/2008 and 4/15/2008.

You will not have to file a return until next year for your job that you just started. You always do them for the previous year, so since you had no income last year, there is no reason for you to file!
