I was contacted three weeks ago by the HR person and told that she wants to bring me out to CA for a final interview and would contact me. This was by voice mail. I called her the next day and left a message. I then waited four business days and called again only to leave another message to call me. I then called another four days later and left another message. I now have called her four times only to leave messages every time and she hasn’t returned my call.
Should I ask for the HR Supervisor and see if anything is going on that I should be aware of or should I just wait? I **** to wait and lose the job, which is a dream job for me, by sitting by instead of taking action but i don’t want to go “over the person’s head” by going to the Supervisor either. Any help?
This is for a mid level position that will pay around $100k if it matters.
Is it ok for me to call a HR person’s Supervisor if she hasn’t returned my calls?
Roughtread asked:

did you leave a message for a particular person? maybe that person does not work there anymore and nobody is answering her messages.
i would call the supervision and explain that you received a message about a final interview. tell them that you returned the call, but you have not heard from anyone and that you are still interested in the position.
good luck
