It’s very unfortunate that the matters of your past can haunt your future. Yes, you will always have issues with a felony conviction, even after it is pardoned it will still be on your record, but as a pardoned offense. The government will look at your offense as forgiven, but the double standards of society will always view you as a criminal. now check this out–in 1995 I shot a police officer in self defense and was charged with four felonies. I was acquitted of; MALICE; 2nd degree murder; Assault on a Public Official; but was found guilty of carrying a concealed firearm by a person under 21 without proper purpose or cause. THAT’S A BASIC MISDEMEANOR IN 48 STATES…NOW I’M 32 AND THIS STILL PLAGUES ME AND NOW MY FAMILY. I still have problems finding employment (I’m a Teacher) and i have a four year degree and a Master’s degree. Keep looking my friend…But I would advise you to stay where you are and tough it out for the next two years…Jobs are not easy to come by…GOOD LUCK!

If you have paid your debt, you could try, but, most companies can not hire a felon regardless of the time past…banks especially. The best you can do is prove your worth, be honest, find out what kind of background tests they perform.

It won’t make a difference at all. That is actually quite an insignificant “crime” if you will to have. It’s a lot better than manslaughter or stealing. Also, I am almost 99% sure that possession is NOT a felony/ It is a misdeamenor. Good luck 2 u!
