I’m almost 18, I have a car(97 sentra 197k miles), and a job.
My current car gets the job done, but the transmission is messed up and I would rather get a new car than fix it.
The car is $17k brand new, I have done some homework on it.
I don’t have any credit, I’m a minor, so I’d use my dad’s. Basically what I need from my parents is about 2 grand more for the down payment and them too cosign the contract. I make about $600 a month, and the payment should be in the mid to high $200s. I can pay the monthly payments without any trouble, and still pay for insurance and gas.
Every time I ask them about it they don’t take me seriously, but I really do want the car. If you were a parent what would you tell your kid. I know what I would say, but obviously I’m bias haha.
Yes I’m so ungrateful, I only bought my 1st car myself, and plan on buying another myself w/ a little help from my parents? lol
