Getting Out Of The Army?

mid-level jobs
always wondering asked:

Im getting out of the Army in a few months. I have been on for 7 years. I am a SSG/E-6. I do have some college but not a degree. Am I still a good candidate for Mid Level Managment Jobs? Or should I shoot for a lower level job?

Why would you shoot for lower level jobs SSGT?

With 7 years of service (also College credits) behind you (I assume a honorable DC?), you have more than enough experience to apply for jobs that qualify you for your abilities learnt in the Army.

Go back to school and get your 2 year in business.

I suggest that you use your VA benefits to complete your education. A degree plus your leadership expierence will give you a leg up in the job market.

For the love of all things you believe holy go to school and use that GI Bill. Find something part time on the side. Defer your loans and pocket the GI Bill if you need cash in a flash.

    NCO’s are NOT managers.

    Officers are managers.

    NCO’s are supervisors.

What job you should apply for, would depend on what your skill set is.

Go back to finish college, it is hard enough for people with masters degrees now to get jobs, let alone without a degree.
