I think my husband may be going through a mid life crisis. He just had his 43rd birthday. As far as I can tell nothing has changed with me…I still do everything the same as before. I take care of the house, cook dinner every night, I also have a full time job that brings in half the income, He never has to do anything as far as house work, I take care of all the bills, we have no children. I also keep myself looking good for him. He seems more irritated and less patient with me and I could go on and on….What do men go through and why….What are they thinking during this? He hasn’t spoken to me in two days and it’s all because I didn’t have a plate of spaghetti the same time as him. HELP!

We are still married and have not discussed divorce but he wants to stay in Canada while I want to stay in the US like we planned when we first got together. Since he recently started a new job, he said he cannot travel hrre since he has no vacation time.

I, on the other hand, do not have any desire for *** anymore for some reason. We have three little kids and life is hectic. He is actually doing things on his *job list* that have been there for YEARS. And he isn’t complaining!!!

I am tired of my wife coming home and bitching about her job. She complains so much about her job and how the customers are mean to her and that they should respect her. Now she’s not the most pleasant person to be with either. When I try to reason that not everyone knows that you are having a bad day or whatever… she starts getting mad at me, and says I should just hear her out. I understand that sometimes she just wants to let it out, but when it starts becoming a routine, I am not always in the mood to hear her ***** about her customers and her job. I also tell her that everyone has problems at work, just don’t bring them home. I work as a mid level manager and often have to deal with issues about people who report to me as well as my superiors, but instead of bitching about how my job ***** I’d rather talk about more pleasant things. I’ve even suggested to her to go find a new job or quit, if she hates it so much, but that makes her go off on me too. And I also know she’ll have the same complaints with another job too, because she has changed jobs.

How do you deal with this? Any one have similar experiences???
