		<description>I&#039;m in the same boat, and it is absolutely necessary that you tell your immediate supervisor, even your manager. They will most definitely contact them asking about your performance and attendance, all the sorts of things you get asked about on an interview, and this will be all before they even consider you for the job.</description>

		<description>There is no way for you to switch positions without them contacting your current boss. If you&#039;re seriously considering moving to another city, I&#039;d be up front with your boss. Going behind his/her back will only **** them off and they won&#039;t be very helpful getting you where you want.</description>
